Prioritising Health at Renaissance Nurseries
Supporting Our Little Ones
At Renaissance Nurseries, we recognise the fundamental role health plays in a child’s development and education. This section outlines our comprehensive health policies, designed to foster a safe and nurturing environment for every child, ensuring that their well-being remains at the forefront of our operations.
We prioritise the health and wellbeing of all our children. Our exclusion protocols due to illness are designed to minimise the risk of spreading infections and to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Children may be excluded from nursery under certain circumstances, which typically include but are not limited to the presence of contagious diseases, gastrointestinal issues, and respiratory infections. During the exclusion period, our commitment to supporting both the child and their family remains strong. At Renaissance Nurseries, we understand that returning after an illness can be challenging. Therefore, we work closely with families to ensure that children feel welcomed, secure, and supported as they re-integrate into nursery activities.
Illness Reporting Procedures
In the event of a child displaying symptoms of illness, we have put in place clear procedures for reporting and managing these situations. Parents and guardians are required to notify the nursery of any ailments such as fever, vomiting, or contagious conditions. This proactive approach helps us to take necessary precautions, protecting not only the affected child but also their peers.
Supporting Families
We understand that health-related challenges can be stressful for families. Renaissance Nurseries is committed to supporting parents through these difficulties by providing resources and guidance upon request. Whether it's connecting families with local health services or offering guidance on nutrition and care, we aim to be a reliable partner in promoting health and wellness.
