Summer is an exciting time at Renaissance Nurseries, filled with opportunities for our children and families to learn, explore, celebrate and make wonderful memories together. Throughout the term, we have a variety of special events planned, including parent engagement opportunities, exciting summer outings, celebrations and our much-anticipated end-of-term activities. We encourage all parents and carers to save the important dates in their diaries and join us whenever possible. Your involvement is an important part of nursery life and helps us strengthen the positive partnership between our children, families and nursery community. We look forward to sharing a fun-filled and memorable Summer Term with you all!
Key-Person Meetings
Parent Meetings
Our Parent Meetings will take place on Monday 17 May and Thursday 20 May.
These meetings provide a valuable opportunity for parents and carers to meet with our dedicated nursery team, discuss their child’s progress and development, celebrate achievements and talk about their child’s next steps in learning.
We encourage all families to take part and use this opportunity to share information, ask questions and work together with us to support their child’s continued learning and development.
SENCo Meetings
Our SENCo meetings provide dedicated opportunities for families to discuss their child’s individual needs, progress and support with our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo).

Exciting
Summer Trips
Our summer trips provide exciting opportunities for children to take their learning beyond the nursery and explore, discover and experience the wider world.
This term, our summer outings are planned for 22 June and 6 July. These experiences are designed to encourage curiosity, build confidence and support children’s social skills as they enjoy new adventures alongside their friends.
Further information about the venues, activities, timings & arrangements will be shared closer to each trip.

As our school leavers prepare for the exciting next step in their journey, we have some special activities planned to help them celebrate their time at Renaissance Nurseries and create lasting memories.

End-of-Year Celebration
We are delighted to invite all our children and families to our End-of-Term Celebration on Wednesday 21 July.
This special occasion is an opportunity to come together and celebrate our children’s wonderful achievements, progress and memorable moments from throughout the term.
Families can look forward to a fun-filled celebration with exciting activities, children’s performances and plenty of opportunities to share special moments together with our nursery community.

Our Graduations
As our school leavers prepare to take their exciting next step into primary school, we take great pride in celebrating just how much they have grown, learned and achieved during their time at Renaissance Nurseries. Every child’s journey has been unique, filled with friendships, discoveries, challenges, laughter and many special memories. Within our diverse nursery community, children have had opportunities to learn about one another, celebrate different cultures and traditions, and develop an appreciation and respect for the wonderful world around them.
Graduation is a very special milestone for our children, families and nursery team. It is a time to celebrate their achievements, growing independence and confidence as they prepare for their next adventure. To all our school leavers, we are incredibly proud of you and everything you have achieved. As you begin your journey into primary school, we wish you happiness, confidence and every success.

Inspire Curiosity through Fun Facts and Stories
This Summer Term, our children will embark on an exciting learning adventure as we explore the wonderful theme of Animals and Their Babies.
From playful puppies and curious kittens to farm animals, wildlife and creatures from around the world, children will discover the many different animals that share our planet and learn the special names for their young. Through stories, imaginative play, creative activities and hands-on exploration, children will investigate where animals live, what they eat, how they grow and the different ways they care for their babies.
Our aim is to encourage children’s natural curiosity, inspire meaningful conversations and develop an early appreciation for animals, nature and the world around them, while making learning exciting, playful and memorable.
This term, our children will embark on an exciting journey into the wonderful world of animals. Through captivating stories, hands-on exploration, creative activities and interactive games, children will discover different animals, their families, habitats and the fascinating ways they live.
Each week will bring new opportunities to explore, investigate and ask questions, while encouraging children to share their own ideas, knowledge and experiences with their friends and educators. These playful learning experiences will help develop children’s communication, curiosity, creativity and understanding of the natural world, while encouraging kindness and respect for animals and their environments.
At Renaissance Nurseries, we aim to turn children’s natural curiosity into meaningful learning experiences that inspire a lifelong love of nature and discovery.
As children explore the fascinating world of animals, they will have opportunities to observe, investigate, ask questions and share their discoveries with others. These experiences will support their communication and social skills while encouraging creativity, imagination and independent thinking.
