I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS

How do I get Childcare Funding if studying?

Please contact your college or university and let them know you have a child who needs childcare while studying. You may also qualify for the Government Funded 15 or 30 Hours in addition to University and College Funded Sessions. Click your eligibility and obtain your Code now. Once your child turns 2, you must obtain the Childcare Funding Code to enable us to claim the funded hours or pay the difference between your college funding and our normal fees to carry on attending our setting. This is because the college fees are lower than our normal fees so we will be running at a loss if you don't get your code.

When can my child start?

If funded by the college, as soon as your funding is approved. You will receive an email confirmation from your college telling you what to do. On occasions, we're able to allow you to start early. To consider this, you must prove that you have submitted your application and all evidence to the college and that you have no one to help you.

If you are funded through the CGPS, you must show us your grant approval letter. You'll then need to link us to your account. On occasions, we're able to allow you to start early. To consider this, you must prove that you have submitted your application and all evidence for your application and that you have no one to help you.

I still have not received my confirmation email from the college, and you have not received the contract. What do I do?

Please get in touch with your college.

What age do you take children?

From birth.

Can I swap my sessions

No. If however you require an additional session, you can book and pay for it at the time of booking. If you need to attend College additional days, for example because you have an exam, ask your college for a Quote Form to apply for additional funding to cover the extra session.

Can I change my sessions?

No. Unless there is a permanent change to your University attendance. You will be able to change your sessions once termly. You will need to provide your university college time table. You can't do temporary changes to your sessions but you can book and pay separately an extra session if required. There is no limit on the number of extra sessions you can book.

If you are funded by the college an require additional sessions for exams, you must obtain a new quote form for us to complete and send for approval.

When can I terminate my place?

Once you register with us and your fees are paid by the college or university, you can terminate your place at the end of your current academic year, subject to giving us four weeks' notice before the end of your academic year. If funded by the College, you can not terminate before the date stated on your College Childcare Agreement.

How does the payment work?

The college will pay 100% of your fees directly to us.

If we claim your fees using the CGPS, we will claim 85% over 52 weeks from your CGPS account, as your fees are calculated to be paid weekly. The remaining 15% will be claimed directly from you. You can agree to pay weekly, monthly, termly or annually.

What if my grant is cancelled?

You must provide evidence so we can suspend or terminate your place without further charges. We will invoice you directly and apply our Termination Notice if you don't provide the proof.

What do I provide?

You must bring nappies, wipes and a change of clothes for your child. If your child needs special food or drink because they are under 12 months, you must bring this. First, speak to us so we can agree to bring food and drinks to the nursery. You can't bring food to nursery for children over 12 months old. We may allow special milk such as plants based or goat milk.

My days at University change regularly. Can I still register?

Yes. As long as you know your University time table at least 2 months in advance, you can register for Flexi Sessions and submit your bookings online. The agreed number of days must remain the same. Once you submit your Flexi Sessions booking, you can't change the days you have booked. However, you can book and pay extra sessions separate to our agreement.

I will attend University for more than a year.

You must apply for University Grant or College Childcare Funding annually to carry on attending these sessions. If you do not longer study, you can change to attend the Funded Childcare or Private sessions. You can check your eligibility online or speak to us for help.

Do I need to pay to attend?

If funded by college, you are not required to pay us unless you fail to apply for your government funding code. If you are funded by the CGPS, we will claim weekly and invoice you the difference monthly or as agreed.
