SOME QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Why do I have to complete an enquiry form?

So we can understand your childcare needs and check if we can offer you a place. Don't worry, your information is handled in compliance with GDPR and is achieved if you don't join us. By completing our enquiry form, you agreed for us to check your eligibility for funded hours. So please ensure the information you submit is correct. If you qualify for funded hours, you must let us have your date of birth and NI number as we need this information to complete our checks.

How much do you charge?

Please complete the Enquiry Form on the Private or Mixed Place Enquiry Portal so we can understand your childcare needs and share our fees. How much we charge depends on several factors. Our fees are spread over 12 equal monthly payments. You may pay for 2 months when you start if you start after the middle of the month. If you start after the 1st week of the month, your first month fees will be based on the number of weeks remaining in that month so your first invoice may be higher than normal as not spread.

What is included in the fees?

Our fees include meals, drinks, nappies, wipes, snacks and extracurricular activities. We require you to provide wipes and nappies if a discount is applied to your childcare fees or if you attend a mix of Private and Government Funded sessions. You can provide wipes and nappies if you have preference on brands or your child is on pull-ups.

I hold a 6 digits code but I work. What sessions can I attend?

As of 1st April 2024, all working parents are offered either Private or Mixed sessions. Please check out the sessions we offer. If you hold a 6 digits code and you don not work, we can offer you Gov. Funded sessions only. Please check out our Gov Funded sessions section. All 11 digits code holders are offered Mixed sessions.

Do I pay if my child doesn't attend?

Yes. Fees are due in full for all absences, including sickness and holidays. Fees are also due in full for all nursery closures, such as Bank Holidays, early closures, or if we have to close to comply with Government and Statutory Guidelines.

Why must I pay the entire month's fees when my child starts mid-month?

It serves as a guarantee. Don't worry, your overpayment is rolled into the next invoice. Your next invoice may be lower than usual, and you will be charged depending on the number of days attended in the first month. Our invoices cover from the 1st to the last day of the month.

I registered but can not longer afford the fee. What do I do?

Visit the childcare choices website to see if you can get help. You may be missing out on Government support whiles you work or study. Our statutory notice period applies when you register with us. You can not terminate or reduce your sessions for the first 6 months of joining us. After 3 months of being with us, you can submit your terminate form or variation to reduce your sessions at the next termination or variation date so send your form as soon as possible. If you have suddenly lost your job please speak to us for direction.

Can I change my Preferred Start Date?

Yes, but it must be no later than two weeks later. You can start earlier subject to availability.

When are fees due?

Childcare fees are due in full in advance before registering. Then on or before the 28th of every month in advance. We can agree to up to 5 days late payment on request after you start with us. We may ask for evidence of when you receive your salary or Universal Credit payments.

I am ready to join, How do I make my first payment?

Our bank details are on our Fees Portal. You can also press on the "Make a Payment" tab above. Alternatively you can send us an email or text. Please let us know once you make your payment.

Can I swap my sessions?

No. However, you could book extra sessions if required on irregular basis or vary your normal sessions. Variations are subject to our Notice Period and availabilities. You can only book a maximum of 3 extra sessions within every 3 months period and a maximum of 6 per annum. If you require regular extra sessions, you may consider increasing your attendance. It also cost you less to increase your sessions than paying higher daily fees.

Can I claim Gov. Funding if I currently attend private sessions?

Yes, you can if you qualify. You must complete the Variation form on our Parent's Portal. We do not back date funding so we advise to get your code and complete the Variation form as soon as possible. If the funding start after the first of the month, you will be charged privately for the non-funded weeks. This is often the case for the summer term so your first month may be higher than normal.

Do you offer discounts?

Discounts are applied to some of our full-time fees. We also offer sublimes discount if attending more than 3 full days per week.

I completed the enquiry form and visited over 3 months ago.

Please submit a new enquiry form even if you don not want to revisit.

What happens if I make an overpayment?

It will get credited toward your next invoice. If the overpayment will cause you financial hardship, we will refund you on request.

I have made my first payment. Can I cancel my place?

Yes, but if you have attended a settling sessions or started for normal sessions, you will be subject to our Termination Notice Period which means that you can not terminate in the first 6 months of joining us.

We may consider an early termination if you wish to cancel before your settling in session. We'll ask for evidence that you have lost your job. Fees paid are non-refundable. This is our sole discretion, so your request may not be approved in certain circumstances.

I lost my job or moved after starting nursery. Can I cancel my place?

Yes, but you will be subject to our Termination Notice Period which means that you can not terminate your place in the first 6 months of starting with us.

We may consider an early termination if you wish to cancel because you have lost your job or have moved more than 5 miles away from any of our nurseries. We'll ask for evidence of your new address or that you have lost your job. This is our sole discretion, so your request may not be approved in certain circumstances. If you are waiting for a place in another preferred setting, we can not offer you a temporary place so we advise that you do not enter into an agreement with us. If you start with us and your child is not setting in, we will work with you to support your child. If at any point you are unhappy about the service we offer you, we ask that you speak to us as we do not approve termination outside of our Notice Period if your child is not settling in or you are not happy with something. We also have a Complaint Policy on our portal.

How do I pay?

You can pay your childcare fees using Cash, Childcare Voucher, or Tax-Free Childcare. You can also pay by Bank Transfer or Childcare Grant Payment if you are a student. You may get help paying childcare fees if you are employed or studying. To make your first payment, please go to the "Make a Payment" tab above. To pay using Tax Free Childcare, please enter our postcode to find us. If your fees are paid by the College, we will invoice them directly.

When should I make my first payment?

As soon as possible, it will secure your place. We allocate our places on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we confirm that we can offer you a place, we will reserve the place for 7 days. After this, we ask you to get in touch to check if we still have a place for you before making any payment as our availability may have changed.

What are the main points of your payment terms?

You can only cancel or reduce a private funded place after 6 months of attendance unless on exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion. You can submit your cancellation or reduction after being with us for 3 months. Our End Dates are 31st December, 31st March,  31st August. You can increase your sessions anytime subject to availability. You can change days once a year

I am due to go back to work and rely on the Universal Credit for my first childcare payment. Can you help me?

Yes we could help. Please complete the Enquiry form and book a visit or call for a chat. Ask your coach for the FSF2 Childcare Cost - Job Centre Plus Agreement and Provider Claim form to for other help available to you.

I work and hold a Funding Code but I don not want to attend Mixed sessions. Can I register with you?

No. As of 1st April 2024, if you work, we can only offer you Private or Mixed sessions. We offer term time attendance at a lower rate. Please check out our Private or Mixed Place sessions structure. We do offer Gov. Funded sessions to non-working parents

I want to start part-time and increase at a later date. Is this ok?

Yes if agreed prior to starting with us. We can offer you up to one month part-time sessions and increase as agreed. This is often required where parents want to settle their child slowly prior to returning to work and to help save money. If it is not agreed prior to registering with us, you will be required to give the appropriate notice to decrease your sessions after the first six months. You may pay higher than normal as your first part-time sessions will not be spread.

I still have questions. Can I speak to someone?

Yes, you can. Please book a pre-registration call or visit after completing the enquiry form. We encourage you to ask as many questions as you want to help you make an informed decision if we are the right place for your little one and if we meet your childcare needs. This will help you understand how we work.

I qualify for government funding but I can't obtain a code.

Please doublecheck the eligibility criteria and contact the government advice line for support. This could be easily rectified.

I have a code. When can I use it?

- 6 digits code: The term after your child turns 2. If your child is 2 before the start of the term you wish to start, you can start the same term you obtained your code.

- 11 digits code: The term after you obtained your code if your child turned 2 before the start of the term you wish to start. You cannot start the same term you obtained a code unless you join us privately
